Robert B. Pierson

Robert B. Pierson, of Bethel Park, on Friday, February 3, 2023, beloved husband for 66 years of Dorothy (Spicker) Pierson, loving father of Debbie Thomas (Bruce), Leslie Beach (James) and Sandy Loydpierson (Philip), brother of Ray Pierson (the late Sue), grandfather of Brittany Smith (Pat), David Thomas (Caitlin), Isaac Loydpierson (Bri) and Amelia Loydpierson (Leila), and great-grandfather of Mia, Emma and Owen Smith. Bob was a man of great faith and cherished his family.  He so enjoyed gathering his clan at the Florida beach, Jumonville, the WV mountains, or camping at Prince Gallitzin State Park.  As the family expanded, he warmly embraced each new addition.  Besides his own, Bob was a dear and admired friend to many, and an ever loyal fan to Pittsburgh’s Black and Gold home teams.  Bob was the co-founder of Pierson & Scott Insurance Agency, an active member of Christ United Methodist Church for 60+ years and served on the boards of Jumonville, The Wesley Institute and SHIM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Clair Room at Friendship Village, 1290 Boyce Road, Pgh., PA 15241.
