Ronald W. Hodges, of Bethel Park, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, age 94, beloved husband for 69 years of Patricia (Micek) Hodges, loving father of Stephen P. (Constance), Barry W. (Susan) and Anne P. Gase (Martin), brother of the late Leo and Alleyne "Sally" Abell, grandfather of John (Kaitlin), Jennifer Worthington (Matthew), Matthew (Lauren), Patrick, Christina Otroba (Thomas) and Hailey, great grandfather of Jack, Benjamin, Joseph, John, Theodore, Charles, Oliver and Ella. Ron was in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He retired from Industrial Scientific. Ron was a member of St. Joan of Arc and past member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Ronald loved daily happy hour with his wife, Sunday pizza with family, family trips to Myrtle Beach, gardening and was an avid Louis L'Amour reader. Ron was a big fan of the Nebraska Corn Huskers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates. The Hodges family would like to thank the staff at Asbury Heights & Family Hospice for their care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday October 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, pva.org.
