Ross Michael Vizzini
October 10, 1931 – February 9, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ross Michael Vizzini, age 93, of South Park, PA, who peacefully left this world on Sunday, February 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 10, 1931, to his beloved parents, the late Sam and Jane, Ross lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. A proud veteran of the Korean War, Ross carried with him a deep sense of loyalty, service, and gratitude for the life he built. His greatest pride and joy, however, was always his family. For 52 beautiful years, he shared a loving marriage with his wife, Rosemarie (Roucka), a bond built on laughter, strength, and unconditional love. Ross was a devoted father to the late Douglas (Linda LoVerde), Lisa (Paul) Blose, Kim, Michael (Angela Rathfon), and Ryan (Megan Morris). He found immense joy in being Poppa to Valerie Scalise, Christopher, Emily Mullis, Maggie Yoder, Tanner & Samantha Blose, Stella, Olivia, Dominic, and Emmett and a great-poppa to Nicholas, Charli, and Nathan. He was also preceded in death by his beloved brother, Tom Vizzini, and cherished sister, Sara Thon.
Ross had a way of making everyone feel special, always reminding us to give love unconditionally, receive love unconditionally, and grow with love. His laughter was infectious, his stories endless, and his presence in our lives a gift beyond measure. He often said he was "the richest man in the world" because of the love of his family—a sentiment that will forever echo in our hearts. Though he has left this world, Ross leaves a legacy of kindness, resilience, and love that will continue to live on in those who knew him. His stories, wisdom, and warm spirit will be deeply missed, but his memory will be cherished and carried forward by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Ross’s life will be celebrated on Thursday from 2 - 8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in his honor. Ross, your love built the foundation of our family, and your light will shine in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully. www.davidhenneyfuneralhome.com
