Saundra A. Hanbury "Sunny" (Temcio) , of Finleyville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the age of 81.
Sunny was the beloved wife of the late William D. Hanbury, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, friendship, and treasured memories. She especially enjoyed the many hours spent by Bill's side, whether at home or together at the gun club, creating the simple moments that meant so much to her.
A devoted and loving mother, Sunny leaves behind her daughters, Sunny Urso (Jim) and Beth Hellerman (Allen). She was a cherished sister of Delores Pascarella (Carl), and a proud and adoring Bubba to her grandchildren, Jack Urso (Lauren Rockwell), Carson Hellerman, and Morgan Hellerman.
Sunny was happiest surrounded by family. Her kind heart, gentle spirit, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. During the last several years of her life, she was blessed to be cared for by a group of devoted caregivers and dear friends who became like family to her. Their kindness, compassion, and companionship brought her comfort and joy, and her family is forever grateful for the love they shared with her.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (Rt. 88), Library, PA, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jude Urso officiating.
