Stephen M. Furge, Jr.

Stephen M. Furge, Jr. of Castle Shannon, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, age 62, loving father of Ana F. Furge, son of the late Stephen and Margaret Furge, brother of Diane Bozzelli and Doris Rieg (Dan) and Papa of Liam, also several nieces and nephews. Steve was a great man with his jokes and quick wit. He was educated about anything and everything, even if it was just a little bit. While he spent most of his adult life as a contractor, he spent the last 10 years with Lowe’s where he taught children’s builder workshops once a month. He loved to take his grandson Liam to his t-ball games. Steve also continued the legacy of the late “Pap’s Pool” for his family and close friends to have a place to gather to enjoy the summers. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Visitation Monday 2-7 p.m. at the David J.
