Steven R. Jones

Steven R. Jones, of McMurray, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, age 61, beloved husband for 31 years of Kathy P. Jones, loving father of Devin L. Peters (Stephanie), Stephanie S. McLaughlin (Ted) & Boyd Jones, son of the late Lois Y. Roach and Wilbert C. Jones, brother of C. Dale Jones (Sherri), Ken Jones (Cindy), David Jones and Dean Jones (Amy), grandfather of Richard Peters, Reagan Peters, Ella Peters, Brayden McLaughlin, Riley Mclaughlin, Wyatt McLaughlin, Sawyer McLaughlin, Bennett Jones and Hazel Jones, Steve was a member of  the U.S. Seabee Battalion and Peters Creek Baptist Church, where he was a member of the "God Squad". He was also president of the Washington-Greene County Chapter of Football Officials. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Full Military Honors.
