Thomas K. Skelton

Thomas K. Skelton, of Bethel Park, on Friday, May 1, 2020, age 83, husband of Loretta, father of Tom Jr. (Lorie) & Traci Mazza, grandfather of Tara Pritts (Tyler), Keri Fortune (Scott), Mike Skelton (Emma), great-grandfather of Tristan, Shane, Aaron & Hayden Pritts. Tom was the son of Arthur and Anna Skelton, Irish immigrants who settled on New Arlington Ave. on the South Side. He was a veteran, served 4 years in the U.S.Air Force, where he utilized his Russian language skills to monitor soviet flights in the Far East during the cold war. He was a member of St. Valentine choir and later the Resurrection choir. In recent years, he resided at Overlook Green Senior Living in Whitehall where he was well taken care of. Tom was also a friend of Bill W's for 43 years. Due to current state mandates regarding COVID-19, there will be no public visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Tom will be buried in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer/Dementia Assoc. or the American Heart Association.
