Thomas J. Smerbeck, of Markleysburg, formerly of Bethel Park, age 82, passed away on August 24, 2023, beloved husband of Deborah, former husband of Betty Lou, father of Patti Jean Staskowicz (and the late Joseph), Beth Tomshay (John Michael Boland), Thomas Jr., Jennifer Maggs (Steve) and Kristen Imbriale (Ryan Vennare), brother of the late Betty Kopec (Joe), Margaret Standford (Bob), Ellen Tabacjar, John F. Smerbeck, Jr. and Edward "Richie" Smerbeck (Suzanne), grandfather of Erin (Ray), Gregory (Jess), Jake, Evan, Amelia, Elise and Adelyn, and great-grandfather of Jacek, Payton and Alina. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louise deMarillac Church.
