Valerie S. (Seifert/Peck) Donovan

Valerie S. Donovan (Seifert/Peck) of Moon Township, formerly of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 21, 2023.  Valerie is survived by her son, Sean Peck ( Molly), her much-loved granddaughter, Adeline, her sister, Michele Haggerty ( Jeff), her brothers, Charles Seifert, and Mark Seifert (Teresa), her nieces and nephews, her loving friend and companion, George Long, and her fur-baby, Benny, as well as extended family members and friends.
Valerie will be united in Heaven with her son, Ryan Peck, her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Seifert, and nephew, Gary Dawson..
Valerie was a full of life person who brought love and compassion into everything she did.  Valerie adored her granddaughter, Adeline, and both Adeline and her Grandmom lit up with joy and happiness anytime they were together.  Valerie loved time with her family, and especially enjoyed time with her niece, Emalee, with whom she had a very special relationship.
Valerie spent her life taking care of others with a loving tenderness and compassion like no other.  
She loved her job as a caretaker, not only for all of the people for whom she cared, but also of the many animals, for whom she provided the most special care.  Her best, little friend, Benny, joined her everywhere she went and even shared in that caretaking role.
Valerie brought a wealth of joy into the lives of everyone she knew and she will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by many.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 3 at the David J. Henney Funeral Home,  6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, PA from 2-4 and 6-9.  A catholic mass will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 10:00AM at St. Louise DeMarillac, 320 McMurray Rd. Upper St. Clair, PA. An internment at Forest Lawn Gardens will be set at a later date.
